Most people think that the site plan is the same as the floor plan. When you delete all levels in a project the site view is also deleted. Thus having better control over site plan and could call back some site plan view in multiple building plans. However they are two different things and it is extremely important to have a clear understanding of the differences that exist between the two.

Create a site view as follows. You have everything you need to complete the floor plan of a house. You are modeling a project. Revit is far from being able to design sites but if you re just making a pad it s ok.
