The latest patch for the sims 4 includes basements so i thought it would be great to make a walkthrough video which shows how the basements work and how to u. The basement tool allows you to add 2 additional floors to your structure underground for a total of 6 floors. Check the patch notes out here. For this your underground structure must have stairs.

To build a basement using the tool simply click on the tool and then click and drag on the area of the house you d like to install the basement beneath. Discuss episode 2 here.
