Sims 3 Stairs To Second Floor

When the first floor closed it should have automatically added a ceiling second floor if you accidentally deleted the ceiling second level. In your new build you are putting your stairs right up against the wall on the first level which is fine but in order for them to be usable to get to the second level they need that same space flooring at the top. Place floors on your second floor and partially on your third floor where you want the upper section of your modular stairs to reach.

They are unable to access the second floor. I play my sims on an xbox 360 i m trying to build a second floor but so far i ve only got as far as putting the stairs in i cant figure out how to get to the second floor you know make the grind appear so i can start laying the floor some one please help me. If you have ever built a house in sims 3 then it is probably a certainty that you would have used stairs at some point. You will need to remove the floor tiles from the stairwell because if there is no hole in the floor the stairs will only try to go up.
