Silhouette Cameo Mat Slipping

Two tips to help keep vinyl from shifting when cutting designs on the silhouette cameo.

Locate the release lever on the right side and turn it clockwise. Is your mat a little full of leftover vinyl fibers or full of glitter. Mine was and i found myself super frustrated because none of my vinyl was sticking to my mat. The mat should be lined up with the gray line on the bottom part of the cameo not pushed all the way up against the gray cylinder. The fix is to move the paper or material on the cutting mat over and up just slightly so it covers the top and left edge of the grid line box right. When cutting vinyl or heat transfer vinyl without a mat on silhouette cameo or portrait the right roller needs to be moved in. I was so far off.
